Our Journey Since 2008

The Arise Foundation was founded in 2008 by Dr. Anya Sharma, following a humanitarian crisis in Southeast Asia that exposed the critical lack of safe shelter and basic education for displaced children. Her single promise that every child deserves security and a future became our mission.

2008

Inception

Established the first two Safe Shelters, providing sanctuary for 50 children.

2014

Expansion

Launched our Teacher Training initiative, certifying 100 educators & building 5 new schools.

2020

Scaling

Partnered with Global Health Initiative to deliver 100,000 nutritional meals and medical check-ups.

2024

Sustainable Focus

Successfully funded over 500 family micro-loan projects, securing long-term self-sufficiency.
